Eagle Rock is a junior oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas reserves in Western Canada. Eagle Rock began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange in February 2006, after the reverse take over of a capital pool company. To establish the company's asset base, various properties from small private companies were rolled into Eagle Rock.

The company has chosen to focus predominantly on oil prospects. It's land assets are relatively concentrated in southern Alberta, with additional properties in Enchant and Whitecourt, Alberta, and in SW Saskatchewan.

Eagle Rock acquired Dragonheart Resources in December 2007.
